Carrefour: OOShop - Supermarché
Sponsored by Carrefour this online store is outstanding with both price
information and supporting pictures of many, many products. There is also a
section with recipes and food/health articles with product tie-in links - Le
Mag. I like to browse via magasin par rayon. There is a
pull-down menu that allows you to switch between icons and small photos that
makes the page look more like a grocery circular. (This
site is the basis for the above activity.)

Pâtissier
This website has become something of an addiction. It's a boulangerie in
Paris where you can follow their daily baking on their webcam.
In addition to the live cam, there are galleries of photos including baked goods
for special occasions and holidays.
Fête
du pain
This website has areas for adults and children.
All focus on bread but via a variety of different activities, games and
historical information. There is
also a photo album of the actual Fête du pain from years past featuring
pictures from regions throughout France.
Santé
Canada: Le Guide Alimentaire
This explains the Canadian equivalent of the food pyramid - the food rainbow.
Includes nice charts with descriptions along with a downloadable version of the
materials.
Mairie
d'Aix-en-Provence
Includes happenings in the city but also has information for people living
there. For example, La Vie Practique includes information on schools - including
the menu for a month. (This
site is the basis for the above activity.)
Juvisy-sur-Orge:

This French school menu seems to be updated more frequently than the one
from Aix – although the format isn’t quite as nice.
